"Dubai Chocolate Imperial Pastry Stout.
The hype surrounding Dubai chocolate has been crazy this past year. Suddenly out of nowhere everybody seemed to be talking about this delicious chocolate bar with crunchy kataifi and a creamy pistachio filling.
But where did it come from, this chocolate bar? Well, the whole thing has been somewhat shrouded in mystery. Some sources mention a pregnant lady with a sweet craving which could very well be true.
We however prefer to believe another story, about a Dubaian DJ – DJ Nuts – who had a cult following in the local nightclubbing scene, and a craving for – you guessed it - nuts. Pistachio’s in particular.
Already as a child young Saif – which was his given name – would drive his parents crazy with an energy level out of this world paired with an obsession for dubstep and its deeep, wobbly and thumping bass that would shake their apartment, well – the whole block actually. They may not have said it out lout, but we believe Saif’s parents were actually relieved when he moved out with his 18 inch speakers.
But DJing is strenuous even for a high energy person like Saif, and that’s how he got the idea to combine his love for nuts with his love for chocolate and Dubai. The world’s most luxurious and delicious energy bar was born – simply as stage fuel. And the rest as they say is history."
