Bad Seed Brewing har gennem flere år brygget noget af det bedste danske lagerøl og med deres Braufrisch-serie har de virkelig oppet det endnu mere. Rotbier er inspireret af en tur til Bamberg og Nürnberg og har virkelig taget det allerbedste fra den tyske ølkultur med hjem. Smag den frisk og før din nabo!
Bryggerne siger selv følgende om øllen:
"Rotbier is a style that is native to Nürnberg, and we were introduced to it, when we visited Nürnberg in late 2023. We sampled a good handful of different Rotbiers in town, and quite liked it. They ranged from sweet and malty, to dry and hoppy - and we especially liked when they presented dry and hoppy, but still had a solid bready malt character
.
For our interpretation, we have used the Red X malt from Best Malz as a base malt, and layered flavors with small additions of German crystal malts. The result is a nice full bodied lager, with soft nutty & caramel nuances, rustic bread and a nice hop forward profile of spice, citrus & floral notes from the use of Tettnang & Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops.
We really enjoyed interpreting the Rotbier of Nürnberg, and hope you guys will enjoy drinking it!"
